Profiles
Which developer do you need?
Each candidate's main role is read from their CV: a back-end developer is not ranked like a mobile developer. Neighbouring roles count in part: a full stack profile stays visible for a back-end or front-end role.
- Back-end developerJava and Spring Boot, C# and .NET, PHP with Symfony or Laravel, Node.js or Python: APIs, microservices, relational databases, integration with existing systems.
- Front-end developerReact, Angular or Vue.js with TypeScript: business web applications, interfaces wired to REST APIs, performance and accessibility.
- Full stack developerA front end and a back end used on real assignments, for example React and Node.js or Angular and Spring Boot: the profile for small teams and projects delivered end to end.
- Mobile developerNative in Kotlin or Swift, or cross-platform with Flutter and React Native: consumer apps, store releases, version maintenance.

How it works
Your job ad on one side, explained profiles on the other.
No ad to broadcast, no CVs to sort: you describe the role, the platform compares it with the profiles already uploaded, and you decide.
- 01
Paste your job ad
The ad text or the job description PDF. Skills, years of experience, budget, location and contract are pulled out live, and you correct whatever needs it.
- 02
Set your criteria
Must-have or nice-to-have for each skill, accepted equivalents, maximum budget as net pay or day rate, on-site presence, acceptable notice period.
- 03
Read an explained ranking
Every compatible profile comes with its score, strengths, points to watch and, for each skill, the line from the CV that proves it, in the dated experience concerned.
- 04
Unlock the ones you want
Until it is unlocked, a profile shows initials only, with no contact details. You unlock the contact of a profile that suits you, and every unlock is logged.
Fictitious job ad: what the analysis takes from it
Full stack developer, Angular / Spring Boot, mid-level
- Must-haves
- Angular, Spring Boot, REST APIs, at least 3 years of experience
- Nice-to-haves
- Docker, PostgreSQL, JUnit unit tests
- Accepted equivalents
- JavaScript ↔ TypeScript; Spring Boot ↔ Quarkus
- Budget
- Up to MAD 14,000 net / month
- Location and contract
- Casablanca, hybrid · permanent
An invented example to show how a job ad is read: this is not a job offer.
For a developer role, the stack weighs most: by default, skills count for 35% of the score and relevant experience for 20%. The must-have skills of your job ad count separately: if one is missing, the profile cannot be ranked “Strong”.
Name, photo, age, gender, school: never used in the score. A human decides, always.
Pay
Indicative ranges by experience
Benchmarks from our indicative grid, not a pay scale: the amount depends on the role, the context and the background. Each candidate states their own net salary or day rate, and the ranking compares it with your budget, expressed the same way.
Freelance: day rateMAD excl. VAT per day
| Experience | Indicative |
|---|---|
| 4 to 7 years | ≈ 2,400 |
| 7 to 10 years | ≈ 3,500 |
| Over 10 years | ≈ 4,000 |
Permanent: salaryMAD net per month
| Experience | Indicative |
|---|---|
| 0 to 2 years | ≈ 11,000 |
| 2 to 4 years | ≈ 14,000 |
Development follows the general grid. For freelancers the ranking compares day rates excl. VAT; for permanent roles, net monthly salaries: a budget is never compared with an ask expressed in the other unit.
Freelance or permanent
Freelance or permanent developer?
Freelance
For a time-boxed project: a redesign, a framework upgrade, extra hands for a team. Freelance developers state a day rate excl. VAT; the indicative grid starts at about MAD 2,400 per day between 4 and 7 years of experience. Say whether the work is on site, hybrid or remote: each candidate's preference is compared with yours.
Permanent (CDI)
For a product you keep building over time. Candidates state a net monthly salary and their notice period; indicative benchmarks: about MAD 11,000 net per month up to 2 years of experience, 14,000 between 2 and 4 years. Availability, notice included, is part of the score.
In your job ad, you state the contract or contracts on offer. Each candidate has said whether they want a permanent job, a freelance assignment or both: a profile that does not match is set aside from the ranking, but can still be viewed.
FAQ
Before you post your job ad
Can I hire a freelance web developer for a short assignment?
Yes. In your job ad, choose “freelance” as the contract and give your budget as a day rate excl. VAT. Only profiles open to freelance work are ranked for that job ad; the others can still be viewed among the profiles set aside.
My job ad asks for Java and a candidate lists Spring Boot. Do they count?
Yes, in part: a more specific skill counts for its family (Spring Boot for Spring, then for Java). An exact match counts more, and the score breakdown says so.
How can I tell a framework actually used from a keyword in a list?
A skill is “proven” when a dated experience in the CV shows it, “declared” otherwise. One click shows the exact line from the CV, in the assignment concerned, with its dates.
Can a French company hire a developer based in Morocco?
Yes. Each candidate says whether they are open to French companies, on site or remotely, and confirms their spoken French and English level. This information appears on their profile.
Is Maroc Emploi IT a recruitment agency?
No. It is a platform: you post your job ad, you see the ranked, explained profiles, then you handle the conversations and interviews yourself. Plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions, with a free plan to get started.
Who can see candidates' profiles?
Only companies approved by our team. Until it is unlocked, a profile shows neither name nor contact details, and a candidate's current employer, hidden by default, cannot see their profile.
How much does access to profiles cost?
The free plan lets you start with 5 CVs and 5 job ads per month. Higher plans and their prices are listed on the Companies page, under Pricing.
